We encourage social activities, and we are a fun group. Luncheon meetings are held at the Alameda Naval Air Station, "Air Terminal Building 77", at 12:00 hours (noon) on the fourth Sunday of the month (third Sunday in November). First-time guests are welcome! We usually have guest speakers who are legends and heroes of vintage aviation, both wartime and civilian.
Protocol:
Your donations help us cover the expenses incurred in renting the facility. Local CAF groups do not receive funding from CAF HQ and are totally self supporting. Your donations help "Keep 'em flying in the Bay Area".
Please bring enough food to feed five (5) people. If you are bringing guests with you, please bring extra food. Please, no frozen food or uncooked pizza! If you choose to bring a whole (uncut) roasted chicken, uncut pizza, watermelon, or other messy contribution, you are expected to cut it up for serving. REMINDER: We usually have enough various serving utensils. If your bowls, utensils, and other cooking paraphernalia are not marked, they are considered a donation. The Food Service Staff do not have any way of telling what equipment you brought. Please mark your stuff!
